Afloat is a beautiful third person action game where a flying robot harvests energy from flying fish to help a flying city survive an impending storm.
Afloat adds many window management features to most Mac applications. Once installed look in the Window menu of your favorite application, and you will find Float's commands there – they have a cloud badge before their title. If you don't find them, it's likely Float doesn't work with that application.
Created by students at the Vancouver Film School, in Afloat you take control of a robot that can glide and use a grapple tether to swing through the air. Your purpose is to harvest energy from the fish that float around in the air and use their energy to keep your city powered up enough to survive a storm.
It can be a little confusing initially, but once you figure out what you have to do it’s a lot of fun flying around and doing a bit of sky fishing. It’s a strange and oddly tranquil game with a beautiful game environment and some great looking fish (and a huge flying whale). The movement feels great (particularly the swinging) and it’s a pretty original premise. Well worth checking out for a bit of fly(ing) fishing!

This is our first IP based on an idea we conceived at the Global Game Jam 2020. See here for the game jam game, which serves as our prototype.
In this local-coop game, the pirates must keep their sinking ship afloat for a duration of time, while leaks keep appearing at the base.
The players must coordinate with each other to stay afloat by doing the following:
- Using the bucket to empty the ship of the water that's filling in through the leaks.
- Using the hammer to build planks at the work table and using those planks to plug in the leaks.
The less water that's inside the ship, the quicker you will be able to beat the level!
Some levels may have mechanisms that can be triggered by floor switches. To activate a floor switch, simply walk on it when it's popped up.
NOTE: regarding the descending from platform action, not all platforms can be descended from.
